Working on different projects over the past several years, never seemed to turn out just quite right for this San Diego native until by chance in 2005 Mike met Paul Welch, a very talented and accomplished musician. Humbled by their mutual influences and moved to create original music together, they formed the band FMera.

Inspired by musicians such as David Bowie, Jawbreaker and Interpol, Mike attempts to weave the high and low notes on his guitar into intricate layers, forming a unique sound and style of his own. Not much of a showman, most of the time you will find Mike modestly gazing down at the floor during their live performances. For Mike, modesty is a virtue he holds dear.
